The medieval wooden Wang Temple in Karpacz was built in the 12th century in the town of Vang in southern Norway during the early Christianization of Scandinavia. Its architecture combines the elements of Romanesque art and Nordic folk art. The temple is made of Norwegian pine saturated with resin ensuring remarkable durability.
